  3. Stu There's also Marvin Gaye. Love starved heart which apart from Chris kings birthday single never got a UK release as far as I'm aware. There must be loads more. Good luck with whatever path you wonder down. Steve
  4. Two Motown tunes off the top of my head .one got a UK issue the other didnt. TMG 507 Four Tops. Ask the lonely. Tamla. Linda Grinner. Goodbye cruel love. So you may have to buy both depending on what you want. Someone's going to prove me wrong now with the Linda Grinner and say it got a UK release. Steve

  9. Martin. Talking of the banks and Watson's. On of the funniest things was when Roger and hoss where in the lift at Hyde town hall . Doors open Roger kneeling down and hoss pretending to fasten his flies. The look on Rogers face was priceless as though they had been caught. So funny. You couldn't make it up. Steve

  15. Just watching time team on more 4. They're digging around the piercebridge hotel where in my opinion was one of the best soul nights ever run in this country. They're using the main room as there incident room. God those stairs leading down to that dance floor. What memories. Any chance of a reunion .that would be special. Steve

Russ. That's what lines Winsford was run on. A anything goes policy by any DJ that was booked .play what you want. As long as it was original vinyl only. Why don't we have a debate about that. Steve

That's your opinion Pete. And whilst I respect it, I don't agree with it. What I should have said is that DJ,s play across the board sets , that way if you don't like R n B for instance you only have to put up with a few tunes and not a full hour. Steve

Calling all promoters. Can we please have across the board music at a allnighter . Without calling it this or that Go on I dare you. Steve
  22. Freddie Paris. There she goes. RCA. It must be up there with the best of them. Steve
  23. Kev. Your so right. I.m interested in this thread, find it fascinating but I could never justify paying these sort of prices for records. £400 was my limit on vinyl. Steve
  24. Don't think there's been a low point, not on the nighter side of thing's anyway. Loved every decade since the 70,s. Each Decade has given something different, Times change. Steve
