  1. Did they get battered in the end 😎
  2. Had a good time thanks mate. Viewed one bungalow a couple of times, considering making a offer. Waiting on laptop repair so as I can post some wildlife pictures. Sorry about the off topic reply
  3. Thanks mate for posting this. Will have a listen tomorrow, bit knackered after 220 mile drive home from Tenby. Trust you are well and safe
  4. Sea caves under St Catherine's island. Tenby a few minutes ago. And the island with the caves plainly visible the picture was taken from the cave to the left of the large one in the middle of the picture. My last night here unfortunately. Back home to Manchester in the morning, then work Monday. Won't be long before I return.
  5. Good luck with the launch. Please keep us posted on here regarding date, price . Hardback, paperback etc. Steve
  6. Thanks Louise 😁🙏👍
  7. Just received a what's app from my son Thomas. He,s got all the pictures from the cross country run. . He won by the way and that was after he had run the course with his girlfriend who won the girls race. Steve
  8. Louise. I have a a portfolio of 60 something large colour photographs 15" X 10 " plus 4 CF memory cards full, plus cloud back. up . Its my son's school pictures I really want , The hassle of reloading everything Canon is par for the course. Not giving up yet, pain been down here in Pembrokeshire, my local PC repair shop in Manchester has never let me down, ( took him a week last time ) but he recovered everything. Just the frustration of not been able too download my photographs from the camera. . Steve
  9. Just been informed by the PC doctor that my Lenovo laptop hard drive is fcuked. I'm not happy, not to bothered about the pictures because they are safe on the cloud, gutted about a folder that contains pictures of my 26 year old son Thomas cross country race when he was in junior school . They where in a normal folder. Hopefully my ex or Son will have them somewhere. So won't be able to post any more picture's at the moment .I return home Saturday then I will have to get the laptop sorted . Been quoted £350 upwards from specialist data recovery services to salvage data . Last resort though. Going to be a pain uploading all the camera software programs if or more likely when a new hard drive is needed . Steve
  10. Lou has just sent me this picture from when I was setting up the camera and filters for the green bridge of Wales pictures that I posted recently. She's a sneak
  11. Tenby a few minutes ago. Does it get any better than when the sun is shining on a stunning place
  12. Greed. Pure greed. Rather than avoid a clash and change the dates. They think that why should they have to move. Been there got the tshirt. When started on board helping to promote Winsford it was run regardless of the other venues, specifically nighters dates. So myself and other at the time promoters sat down and sorted it out so as not clashing. Took a bit of time and effort but it was worth it. It's not so much the nighter promoting these days as they're failing by the wayside as more people prefer a drink or early night rather than getting smashed. . There used to be 2 or 3 weekenders a year all at seaside venues . All well attended. Now there's probably 3 weekends when there isn't one and virtually every county has one never mind the European ones and further afield. This topic has been done over so many times before that I don't think many people on here will bother responding. Steve
  13. Watched the documentary last night. More questions than answers. What a enigma Betty Davis is. Did she have a breakdown ? Did she just have enough and walk away? She was certainly a beautiful if somewhat troubled talented lady. There seemed to be some contact with her in the later parts of the film suggesting there's more to come ?
  14. Two from this evening when I achieved a lifetime ambition and managed to get to the stack rocks and the green bridge of Wales unfortunately my laptop is poorly and I can't get it working, crashed during a update so can't post any more at moment Some of the waves in the picture where probably 10 metres high when they crashed onto the rocks. 60 maybe 70 metres below me Steve
  15. Thanks Bill. It's the kind comments that make the sometimes difficult to get pictures worth it. And that isn't just from me mate, I know that I'm also speaking for the other contributors to this thread Steve
  16. John Anderson. The man responsible for the sound track of my life. Thank you. Sleep well and rest in peace Steve
  17. Nature at its cruellest. Atlantic Seal Pup, probably died in the recent storms that hit the Pembrokeshire coast but now feeding the Gulls. Its skull and spine clearly visible
  18. All good mate thank you very much. Yeah definitely playing out at Lancaster. Sounds like I missed a good film.
  19. Russell. Because of the canvas style you don't need the image quality to be as good as a A3 or A2 photograph. Steve
  20. Karl. I was unfortunately on holiday when it was shown . I've heard that it was brilliant. Definitely going to get myself a copy of the DVD. Trust you are well and safe mate. See you at grumpy soul. Steve
  21. Russell. Get it done as a large canvas 36" X 20" to do it justice mate. My sunset at Blackrock sands cost me £90 but it looks amazing on the wall Steve
  22. Tourists . That there london is full of em even at that time of the night. 🤣. Steve
  23. Two from today down at a place called the Deer park on the peninsula overlooking Skomer island Wheatear and Leather jacket lunch
