  7. Also came out on An-gel 452, a green label if my memory serves me well. I heard Ian Clark play it on the radio at a Blackpool Weekender and had to have it. Bought it from Bob Cosby at the following Soul Essence, so it might of had spins there. Bh
  8. I remember lots of Motown 6 track Ep's coming out of Bostocks (the ones with stiff cardboard covers) and for every gem there must have been a hundred non soul duffers! Also one in the Merrion Centre market in Leeds before it was Gerrols. BH

  20. Any Buddy Causey's in that 10,000 Capitol 45s Ian? A Jerry Fuller written and produced, Moonchild production. The sort of thing you would at least want a listen to but a million miles away from what was happening in 1975! Loved the cd BTW, guess the nagging at Blackpool worked! Blake
  21. Yes I remember going to this, my overiding memory though is Elton Johns "Philadelphia Freedom" being played almost non stop on the jukebox in the coffee bar area. Also remember it being very cold. Blake

  23. Always known as a Northern oldie but it never sounded like the tunes of the day back then, but drop it in a crossover spot and it sounds great IMO. BH
