Billy McGregor: Mr Shy label variations
Next question...how did the backing track end up with Phil Orsi who would produce at least 5 versions of "Love Is Slipping Away" with it????

Ain't No Big thing -versions

How Much
No, don't know who exactly. Might be tied to Norwalk Records as they a few back in the day. There's a few others I've seen, sometimes with different label names but usually the same combination of tunes.
-
How Much
Yes, it's a 70's bootleg done for the lowrider scene here in Southern California

Records that were easy to find a cheap post 2000
Agree...has been a great tool for new friendships and information. Good friends & records should be pursued in any conceivable way.

Remember all the shit talk about "internet diggers" during those times and now here we are waxing poetic about the days of dial up modems and GEMM....the good ol' days! 😉 The growth of the sweet soul scene worldwide has added demand to many tunes that were on every other sales list back then....Fabulous Performers and Bobbi Rowe are two perfect examples. Hardly see for sale nowadays.

- THE BLUE SHARKS: THE SOUL SCENE'S LONGEST EVER 'COVER-UP'?
I've always like the Blue Sharks version. The production reminds me of Sandy Wynns, Patrice Holloway, etc.... probably the same reason others like it.- Mr. Caldwell Love Bandit
- The Ringleaders one off colored vinyl
Strong VG plays great. Taking offers starting at $450 One off copy for legendary Chicago DJ Herb Kent at WVON. Probably as close to a “promo” copy as you’ll find. Same labels on both sides with water damage...and Herbs own handwriting on the “play side”- Jessie Davis Room For Me REVERE w/ sleeve
- Esther Grant acetate
Hey Malcolm! A local shop here in SanDiego has been dripping out a collection from an older collector that passed away. Have pulled lots of nice stuff over the last year or so...lots of other acetates and biggies(some of which were sold on here). 👍- Esther Grant acetate

(I do reserve the right to end early if an acceptable offer is made) Esther Grant - Let's Get The Most Out Of Love / Take Me Now Or Leave Me Be Acetate looks to be VG+ with light marks. Above photo is the boot...original would a small stamped "BK4M-7615"- Soul Ones - This is my prayer - Deal
The Las Vegas dealer has been misinforming other dealers as to the true origins the bootlegs. The Popsike link is the real deal. Should have a small stamped matrix as all RCA custom press 45's do. The bootleg has a massive, horrible looking "stamped" matrix that was done with a punch press kit lol There was no warehouse find...just another boot done by the two Vegas dealers who are well know for them.- Unreleased Rodd Keith acetate
Unreleased Rodd Keith (under his other skis, Rodd Rogers) 6.5" acetate. Condition is NM but has some light static on the intro. Offers over $100 please. Will leave until Thursday at 12:30pm PST - THE BLUE SHARKS: THE SOUL SCENE'S LONGEST EVER 'COVER-UP'?
