Sean I don't agree with the idea myself and just wonder what others would think on this thread , i Have not done it and I won't even though their is alt takes unissed on cds which would not be any diffrence to getting a carver of a Motown unissed track done.

just a quick thought !! I really want a " Thats why I love you " but at the moment can not afford the original , a local DJ said really if i paid Steve callaway ( a friend of mine from the group who sang on lead) a agreeable fee between us i could get a carvers done and play it out to DJ with. my thoughts this would be cheating ! to me it would not be like owning an original , although Steve as said to me to do it with out a fee to honer his legacy as he knows i ve not pressed them to sell and make money.

YE SAME HERE , I PAID FOR A EBAY ITEM JAN 5TH THE SELLER SAID HE POSTED IT ON THE 8TH , WELL WEEKS WENT BY AND I GOT A BIT WORRIED , SO I GOT INTO A DEBATE WITHE THE SELLER , I TRIED TO GET MY MONEY BACK THROUGH PAYPAL BUT WAS TOLD I LEFT IT FAR TOO LONG , I THEN JUST ACCEPTED MY LOSE , THEN ON SATURDAY IT TURNED UP WITH THE POSTAL DATE CORRECT WHAT THE SELLER TOLD ME , I HAVE EMAILED HIM TO LET HIM KNOW THAT IT FINALLY ARRIVED MONTHS LATER.

I SEEN ONE AT BOB MAYES IN DETROIT , IT WAS VG - AND HE WANTED $40 FOR IT , I LATER PAID A BIT MORE FOR THE SAME CONDITION BUT IT PLAYS OK FOR DJING AND THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME , ALSO MINE WAS OWNED I'M TO BELIVED BY BETTY BOO ( WINSTON ) WHO GAVE IT TO PAT LEWIS.
