My Black Bee Playlist
Cheers guys, I really appreciate the praise. I was celebrating my 20th birthday that weekend, and this was probably onky my 5th time behind the decks. So the fact I have gained compliments from many people on her and the club means alot. All the tracks are personal favorites, just surprised that no one does play the vibrations B side out more? Killer track. Now to hunt some more B-side and killer tracks out to hone my set even more...

Ronnie Davis - Forgive Her - Soul Beat
I have come across this record in Manchester, bought it as it looked like an interesting reggae 45. A quick popsike search revealed one sold about 2 years ago for $75, my copy has had its label defaced but the vinyl is in reasonably good condition. Any idea on value?

The Most Authentic Bootleg/counterfeit?
Yeah I know, my dad has a copy. But, I am sure it is a boot, however, my point comes from that there are that many boots of it and the orginal is so rare. This all made it a bit more of a mystery, nut with lable scans etc its a lot easier! As for the record, I dont mind it. Theres better, theres worse...

1980's Northern Low Point
Also, not sure if has been mentioned. The scooter scene was massive in the 80s and Northern played a huge part in the scene, live acts and allnighters were common place at rallies. So in my opinion did its bit keeping the Northern scene live and kicking.

Where Next "musically"?
All these sub genres confuse me... Can some one tell me what the likes if The East Coast Connection and Black Nasty are? Are they Funky Northern, Funk, Northern, Jerky JB Style Funk (Insert any sub genre I may have missed). I thought I knew, but I have no Idea any more?

What Do You Think Of This? Unknown Track
I like it, definitely more 60's beat/mod type vibe than NS in my opinion, but worth playing out if you get the chance. Reminds me some what of the Alan Bown Set.

Slimharpo Aka John Evans Has Passed Away Today Address Added
Was he a member on Modculture a few years back? And did he DJ/run his own mod/R&B/soul night? If so he sent me a load a CD's a few years back for free, they were great and definitely helped me explore some great soul tunes. Even if I am thinking of the wrong person, it is very sad news. Please pass on my condolences to his family. Jordan
