Poll: Version Battle - I Got The Need
Must admit I hadn"t played the Moments for about 15 years or so (untill 10 mins ago when I saw the reply, but only on YT so not the best sound for me) but have played Spooky & Sues often to check condition before selliing. Still not convinced its the same backing. But I have been surprised before like when I found out Sue was Sue Chaloner Cheers Paul

Poll: Version Battle - I Got The Need
Au contraire if its a different mix if only slightly (and I am not convinced yet) then its not the same backing. Ooo la la Paul

The Guardian's take on a NS top 10
Read half of the article on the Guardian app on the way back from work today. At least the guy seemed to know what he was writing about. Had to chuckle when he wrote that it would be pointless to list 10 classic oldies and then proceeded to do just that ! Well the 1st 5 I haven"t read it all yet but exspect more of the same. Al in all a decent and positive read I thought. Cheers Paul

Motown experts required!
Mickey not doubting you at all (and I haven"t heard the track, soundfile anyone?) but on the discogs link the flipside is written by Louis Johnson. Chalky according to the Soul Harmony book the L.V. Johnson ICA 45 from 81 "I Love You, I Want You I Need You/"I Don"t Really Care" is Lou Johnson. So maybe you can compare voices on this ? Was news to me when I checked after reading this interesting thread. I have at least one other ICA 45 by LV Johnson which I think is a differnt singer than Lou Johnson.?? Cheers Paul

But was it 'A Big Thing' after all ?
