Soul Train
I've been 'arpin on about the possibility of "Soul Train" DVDs for a good while but when my mate sent me some footage a while back it suddenly came to me......................they"re miming a la TOTPs so would it be such a great thing to have them all ? I much prefer a live performance these days to going out and listening/watching someone play records but dunno if I wanna see miming for hours on end. Cheers Paul

Sad News Richard Popcorn Wylie RIP
Hope some "soul sourcer " will print out this thread and send it to the Wylie family as a small tribute from worldwide soul fans. A true legend has been lost, someone who had an enormous influence on the "Motor City'" music history and so also the UK "Northern Soul Scene" RIP Brother Richard and thank you for your musical legacy Paul Woosnam

Am amazed that people are reccomending Utrecht for 45s as the couple of times I've been its been albums (admitingly very good)albums, albums. And the only 45s of any significance in the "rare soul' kinda thing were from English dealers. Apart from the odd Euro picture sleeve and they weren"t cheap. Cheers Paul

Ian, Did you try to find Patti Jo for SWONS ? Don't think anyone has a photo of her ? Was gonna put a picture of the Dutch 45 of "Make Me Believe In You" but unfortunately Mrs Shrews can't be arsed and I don't have the know how. Don't think she recorded anything else except her other "Ain't No Love Lost" ? Scepter 45 ? Cheers Paul PS The Dutch 45 has a "designed" sleeve rather than a pic/photo
