  13. Only recently got a copy of Vicki Anderson "Wide Awake......" (thank you Bearsoul) what a record, can't stop playing it. Agree Mr Brown was a unique talent, would go so far as to say genius. Cheers Paul

  15. Yep remember that show well Billy. I've had the chance to see Mr Brown a couple of times in the last few years but have resisted, wanting to keep my memories of him as that night. Think it was '85 and he still had Maceo Parker and Fred Weslely in the band. It was definately Sunday night after the 100 club, what a great way to finish the weekend. RIP James. Cheers Paul

    Nice one Dave, its from a CD released in 2004 "The Dana Owens Album" Richard Searling was playing "Hard Times" (originally by Dr Buzzards?) a lot in his show. Rest of the CDs pretty good too, all cover versions but with great backing and the girl can sing! Cheers Paul
