Never let it be said I take my time in responding to online forums........ Just to follow up on the point you made, can you confirm the "fine as Wine' is actually Hattie Littles? This is unreleased still? Why multiple copies? I think there were 3 of these originally. I still have 2. Were these cut as archive back-ups rather than potential releases? Also any ideas on the "singer" of "Goodnight Manhatten" Best regards Steve

Hi, just been trawling the stuff for sale in my garage. Came across this. Opinions? Has same matrix as first post. Has 2 ridges adjacent to centre hole on b side as top post. Original? Does this mean I have to keep? What value? Best regards Steve

God bless...that's a pearl cheered up my afternoon -
I cannot offer an answer for anyone other than myself... But to answer Ady's original post I do still want to hear 60s newies.. The new Brent CD has some truly great tracks. Regards
-
Martyn, where's your typographical flair.... they all should be printed on a hand fed platen or if not then at least using movable wooden type.... I would suggest Bodini Poster as the face of choice. Regards Across the board printing.com

Why? The pulp used in the manufacture of most paper stocks comes from softwood. The bulk of the European manufacture is taken from managed sustainable forests. The destruction and de-forestation of tropical rain forest is primarily undertaken for the expansion of grazing of commercial meat products Blame MacDonalds, not a printer....

Morley Shoulder Of Mutton 03 August 2014
Steve Ss replied to Steve Ss's topic in Event Playlists - Reviews
Thank you....glad you liked. True...top track....never heard it played out anywhere....was going to use it to end our do at Shipley the other week, but had "fuddled" brains so ditched it for the Peps instead.....there's always next time (Burning Sensation ~ Shipley) Maybe someone will buy yours now...plug... This is what I like about the Morley do...because it is an afternoon event it gives you the chance to spin tracks that have been over-looked for too long the chance to get spun... I must admit my selections were to play to a good friend who made the rare trip out...so were maybe a bit more obvious. best regards -
Playlist 03.08.14, Shoulder of Mutton First Anniversey 15:30-16:10ish Exits ~ Under the streetlamp Stepstones ~ Leave us alone part2 Exits ~ You got to have money Marlena Shaw ~ Let's wade in the water Johnny Gibson Trio ~ Beachcomber Charles Spurling ~ She cried just a minute Clyde McPhatter ~ Lonely people can afford to cry Willie Small ~ How high can you fly Carol Anderson ~ Taking my mind off love Cookie Scott & The Chevelles ~ I don’t care Martinis ~ Hung over Freddy Butler ~ The signifying monkey Bill Penny and the Pacemakers ~ I can’t stay Kenny Shepard ~ What difference does it make Vala-Quons ~ Window shopping on girl’s avenue Arthur Alexander ~ Show me the road First anniversary at a top venue. Thank you to Steve C for continuing to arrange this. I think that was what I spun..... I only had time for a short set as I had to get off sharpish I was asked to play the Exits and played the "wrong" side first....oh dear. No apologies for any of the tracks played..its a relaxed sunday afternoon. The Arthur Alexander sounded good booming loud..... Come along next time……you might enjoy yourself. Best regards Steve

Gents, it got a couple on the floor, but to be honest I should have played it earlier in the night when "legs were fresh"
