if that's the same concert I went to Al Green did not appear due to a bout of flu and Phillip Mitchell was flown in to replace him as I remember it,Rufus Thomas and Tami Lynn were also on the bill, I have the ticket along with other concerts I went about that time framed with Al Green crossed out and Mitchell pencilled in underneath,on the ticket Al Green is actualy billed under Rufus and Tami.

So what's it worth guy's please, can't be much if I've got one

I like your logic twisted or otherwise, I saw Jr circa 74/76 in New Brighton,memory is a bit sketchy as to whether there was one performance or two as was often the case in those days the one we went to had a very poor turnout so could have been first house, Jr asked everyone to come down to the front and asked for requests,never thinking he would play what was a b side over here I shouted for Sweet Soul and bugger me he played it.Don't know what it was about that area at the time and their attitude to live Soul artists but about the same time I saw Wilson Pickett in a club in Liverpool which sadly was also poorly attended,less than 150 to see the Wicked one supported by Phillip Mitchell.

If an instrumental could ever pull at my heartstrings it would be this one, Junior blows his heart out, wonder what it would be like with a vocal , just a magic tune I've always loved

Am I right in thinking for some reason they changed the running order of the tracks on the cd's, have them somewhere after foolishly giving away the albums to a mate ,?
