A fine quality piece of Northern Soul, and possibly the most excitement you can get in under 2 minutes On offer is an original press white label promo (stamped in run-out) of the Velvet Satins - Nothing Can Compare To You on General American GA-006 Condition is VG+ Offers via PM please. Payment - Paypal, US$ old Roman Coins, uncute diamonds coins accepted. Anything except £'s unless you cover the devaluation - only joking Phil

  5. Danny Moore - Somebody New - Allrite. Bought for $2.00 at Sams Jams in Detroit and sold for £1000.00 to Pete Lowrie. Result! Particularly now there's loads about
  6. I'm going to the US in a couple of weeks and then again end of December. I forward purchased my $ for my November trip as soon as it started looking a bit dodgy, so got $1.80 for the £. I did the same again today for my December trip and could only get $1.64. That's a 10% difference in just a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that it gets better before I go in December, as I've not bought all the currency that I'll need, but I'm hoping it gets better. We've not been used to having to do this for a long time now. On previous trips of late I've just got a few $ to start me off and used credit cards & cash machines for everything. Phil
  7. Flipping 'Eck I may have to sell mine if it's going for this much. last one I had I sold for £80!!! Mind you that was 1992

Quite simply one of the best male vocalists ever. He touched millions with his singing. I know Levi's in a better place now. Goodnight God Bless. You'll be sorely missed

About 10 years ago at The Griffin Niter, Leeds. I bought a luvverly mint copy of Abstract Reality on Sport. The only one I needed to complete the label. I was too lazy to put it in my DJ box, so I put it in my bag near the front desk. About an hour later I was all "enthusiastic", put my bag on a chair, sat on it and both heard and felt the crack. That was bad enough, but when I got home as the crack was very clean I decided to "mend" it with superglue. Have you ever seen what superglue does to styrene Phil
  24. We're not just testing the water, the discs are in production at the factory right now. Money has been spent and will continue to be spent. This is just the first release of a number we've committed to do. Sparked initially by my and Ian D's enthusiasm for Cafe Regio's, yes. But is now a bonafide vinyl-only record label project There are initially 12 45's to be released at a rate of one about every 4 to 6 weeks, and we'll see after that. How many do you need for wholesale Pete? Phil
  25. Sherman Nesbury used to be in The Admirations I believe. Phil
