Hotel I stopped in last year (Monarch) tried to charge me £12 per person per night more this year & we'd reserved them last year on checkout. There were 6 of us stopping for 4 nights (went Thursday) so that's £288 difference. Told e'm to stick it & booked somewhere else. If the promoters can honour their promise & stick to the price agreed a year ago why can't the hotel.

Suppose if he buy's it off himself it'll save on the postage

Just thought I'd point a few of you towards the new release from Ferry Ultra feat Ann Sexton. EMS is a charity event Kev & the last one raised over £4000 for the Macmillan cancer trust & to be honest I don't think it will affect you very much so no need for the nit picking really is there?. My point was not about being convienient for Brid. More about being convienient for the punters that are doing both events.

Would it not be easier to tell the Bridlington promoter who lives just around the corner face to face Kev rather than throw false accusations like the one above around on an open forum? Reason Bridlington is on the dates it is is that they were the available dates for the next 10 years, Fact. Think you'll find that a lot of folks actually go to stop on the East coast for the week & do both weekenders so it could be said that you & the Brid promoters are actually unwittingly helping each other. Would have done the above myself but for the fact that Whitby clashes with the EMS charity weekender.
