Whats The Rarest Re-issue
When I said 'jury's out' I meant regarding the rarity of it John as the copies that keep popping up on e bay go for quite a lot.

Whats The Rarest Re-issue
Quite a few of the coloured & multi-coloured vinyl boots & all pretty scarce. Sam fletcher, James Lewis, Pointer Sisters, Eddie Foster spring to mind. Any more?

'sticking A Disco Beat Behind It'
Used 'bold' type since I joined site 4 years ago as have several others & never recieved a complaint yet. Also not a Mod for this section of the site so feel free to treat me the same as any other member as wouldn't want it any other way. Reason I replied to your post - read the topic sub heading at the top of the page......

Nate Calhoun-funktown-glades
Bet JM won't sell you one for £15 now Chris. Would say more like £50 & rising. Demo on the link below for $121 'buy it now'. https://cgi.ebay.com/NATE-CALHOUN-FUNKTOWN-...p3286.m20.l1116 Sounds a lot but the demo's far more scarce than the issue.

Solid Gold Revue - Loves Traffic - Album
Thought so but wasn't sure Not seen the e bay copy but should have as have Solid Gold Revue in my e bay notifications. Getting sick of it though as keep getting told about dodgy watches.

Dj Or Collector
Oops, forgot about JV & I used to go to Sammy's until I got banned (another story!). Think Sam would class himself as a DJ too really. Ask him about his Abba collection
-
Dj Or Collector
Don't think there are ANY DJ's at all on the Northern scene & very very few either on the Modern scene. Just collectors who are passionate about playing the music they love to a wider audience.

Solid Gold Revue - Loves Traffic - Album
Not bought for "She's So Good" as it's bought for the title track "Love Classic" that never got a 7" release. Hurricane/bomb story??? Estimate at a price, £500+ for a minter I guess but might go for a bit more now Sam's playing it.

Speaking The Unspeakable - Soul Blind Spots
Know what you mean Andy r/e The Del-Larks but wouldn't have picked that until I saw them at Prestatin a while back. They started off fine with parts 1 & 2 but just kept it going. Got up to about part 5 then started reading out birthday dedications & it just got a bit too much by the time they got up to about part 17 or so! Anyway my 2 unburdeners are The Metro's - Since I Found My Baybee & Sister Sledge - Love Don't Go Through No Changes In Me. Off to room 101 they go.

Manships Finishing Prices Tonight
Franklyn - Super Love was a bargain (sure I said that a while back when his last copy went through cheap). Have seen e'm go for more than double that on e bay. Thought the Allan Harris was really cheap a couple of weeks ago as well. Seems that 12" stuff on Manships auctions don't attract the bidding frenzy's that 7" stuff does. Hope he puts up a Sir-Prize 12" soon

Help Me Solve 3 Modern Mysteries
Thanks for starting such an enjoyable thread Andy albeit a bit Gods own county biased The Jimmy James arrived today & can confirm that the labels are reversed so dread to think what will happen if I ever play it out after a few beers! Bit baffled as to what's getting played in the instrumental break in Missing You - sounds like 'Comb & Izal' to my ears What label's the Marie Celeste on mate
