  8. I'm a soulie...have been since 1974'ish and will remain one til the day I die. Age is just a concept/number. Oh and I'm from Darlo in the North East and I have always gone a-soulin. Mind you soulhead has a nice ring to it...househead is generally accepted so why not soulhead?

  10. I think the scene will continue but in a different guise...the young uns will take it in a different direction...play it in their own clubs with people of their own age...same sorta vibe, dfferent environment

The aftermath of the sleepover is still ongoing as the one who slept over is refusing to go home I am presently having a brief reprieve as said little one has been taken home by his mum to try new clothes on and I have taken the opportunity to ask my lad who he thinks has the most soulful female voice. Quick as a flash he said "Rebbie or Janet Jackson" :ohmy: Not bad for a 9 year old methinks Might have known, given the obsession Don't know how the chuff my lad knows about Rebbie Jackson's singing career as I only found out about it last week...probably the power of t'internet as he comes out with all sorts and has an incredible thirst for knowledge.
