Mrs Doyles Irish bar with "Mick the fiddler" who is Irish unlike acts in other "Irish" bars. Hi was in Magaluf earlier in the summer, was told about a 'Northern' bar by some friends who there same time called Popeyes, went in and was usual Wigan Casino c.d's. Then went to see 'Mick the fiddler' was best night of the hols real good atmosphere and laugh Quite a few bars on the strip say they play Northern, but kids wouldn't let me go in!!!! Have good hol and enjoy the sun Kaz

Just been told that Winsford civic centre is being demolished early in 2009 so there will be only one nighter there early next year probably in Feb. Will post more details later. The 2 remaining dates for this year are safe. So folks if you have always promised yourself that you will go, you have only got 3 more nighters to get down there. Steve Hi Steve, and all promoters of Winsford,(past & present) Real shame that this excellent venue is being closed and demolished, have had many a good nite at this place over the years, and like other peeps will be sad to see it go. It was one nighter you could be certain would always be a good nite with friendly faces and no c**p. Have missed a few lately for personal reasons but will be there for the next three Good luck if you decide to carry on elsewhere, am sure you will be well supported. Kaz x

Shocked and saddened to hear such awful news about Pomma. Only chatted to him last Sat as he was chilling at Prestatyn, nice guy and always had time to say hi, when he wasn't dancing. Sadly missed, our thoughts go out to his family Kaz & Kit

prob cos not a lot of folks know it ,its realy only came to the front when John Weston+Bob Hinsley started to play it ,only ever played in rare or up front cluds,, now its getting played by said Weston ,more +more people giving it yeh ive known it for ages when in fack thay aint ,,When i got mine of butch ,5/6 years ago even he said this is quite unknow ,so if you see 1 i totaly recccomend you buy it ,,butch +Weston cant be wrong kaz

Memories, forgot about the Arcadia Dayers, not sure about the NWSC in town, but do remember sciving off school late 78/79 to go buy records in Bangor.

My first All Niter, was just 15 at the time, scared stiff at first, but absolutely hooked from then on and haven't looked back. Remember the Frenny club too, and the Riverboat rooms in Rhos-on-Sea. Also many soul nights at the Pier late 70's early 80's, All-dayers every New Years Day. Saw the Specials and other Two-Tone bands there 1980/81, great times!
