Maybe, but not more than £150 Great tune, happy to see it go for a lot more

If it's "Suddenly" I would say around £100
  6. Whatdaf**, who is behind this bootleg? Selling bootlegs is the same as suporting it
  7. Holy fu** At least It shows that northern soul must have been "big" in the UK at early/mid 70s -
  8. Who where this band? This might be the worst I've ever heard https://cgi.ebay.com/WIGANS-OVATION-45-UK-70s-instro-MOOG-PSYCH-FUNK-Listen_W0QQitemZ220458762780QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Records?hash=item33545dc21c&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14
  9. Makes you think that there must be records today going for "nothing" that we can regret not buying in 2030
  10. No, I was thinking of the price
  11. Well, we were not discussing how it sounds But C. Morers description (this is the rare 80s press) just added a new "chapter" in the crazy story of this record that seems to never end.
  12. Maybe that's why we see this: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330342958497&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  13. "Like all autographed copies, this is the rare 80s press!" This is the same copies that you can get for $20-30
  14. I was talking about the stock copy Never heard about a version with C. Mayfield, but I'm sure you can find New World in refosoul.
  15. I see. But I can't understand why it's so rare. Should think that Polydor made more than say 500 copies..
  16. Never seen this on Curtom, I have it on another label (can't remember what ) 1046 - Curtis Mayfield - Tripping Out / Never Stop Loving Me - 1980
  17. Here you go.
  18. I've had some evenings where I have a "B-side session" and found a lot of good tunes. But the most funny thing about this is to find that you've had a record for many many years and not once played "the other side"
  19. Thanks again Boba for clearing this up, really like that people are doing this "kind of work" when it comes to the rare soul! I need to find a audio of "So is the sun" just to hear the vocalist there cos the vocalist on WGMI really sounds like C Mayfield. Please ask what the lyrics on WGMI is all about, I heard it was for some political cause or something??? I'll send "Help the man asap. PS. I'm sorry but I don't know your website, could you post a link?
  20. Thanks Boba! I have this record and I've always wondered about the Curtom connection. Cos on the Polydor label you can read "Curtom publishing, and it's produced and arranged by Rich Tufo" (Who worked for Curtom records)+ Curtis M and Rich T is the writers of the songs. PM me your mail address and I'll send you audio of both sides! A couple of questions; How did you get in touch with the members of the band? Who came up with the name New world (Who where the band members?), and why was it issued on polydor?
  21. Is there a refosoul clip of this? Would love to hear it! Do you know the Joe Johnsons version of this? Great 70s version which is possible to get on a 45 (7")
  22. Got a friend who is going to Chicago in August, anyone know good record stores they will share?
