Revilot 208 Jackey Beavers I Need My Baby. Why so rare?
My copy is signed by Jackey. The story I was told was that this copy ( and others) were given away at a car dealership trying to promote the record. I assume the owner was a pal of Jackey's. The SWONS?

Rocket allnighter 2002
I was there that night - went with Alan (RIP) and Judi Pollard + John & Carol Vare. Think the Jeremy you talk about is Jeremy Hanson. I met him that night for the first time. We had communicated prior to this via Levine's 'Advanced Northern Soul' chat site. Met Lee Vowles (RIP) that night as well. First time I heard ' Run, run, run' - I currently own Ian Levine's copy he played that night. Not got my ticket!

Is it me, but?
Celeste Hardy is going for quite a bit of cash at the moment. £1200 is not 4 times it's current value.

Is it me, but?
Just revisiting this thread. Not naming names, but have you seen the recent sales where the asking prices are around 4 times the actual value (imho)?

John Abbey
Hi Eddie John Manship is currently auctioning a poster which he says was Major Lance's first 'gig' when he arrived in the UK before the Torch recording. I posted earlier in this thread regarding the gig in Halifax and the backing group not knowing the tunes he was trying to sing. It seems strange that the backing group did not know his music at Halifax if they had already played with him! Perhaps you could ask John Abbey to clarify ? ( if he can remember). Hope you're well. Cheers Julian

7th Avenue Aviators Congress demo
You should o' held on - white and red Congress demo I'm going to rate this as EX - it has one light line on the You should side and nice clean labels. Plays perfectly with no static, pops or crackles. I'm looking for offers over £1000 and will let the bidding run until Saturday 31st March unless I get an acceptable offer before then. I've attached scans of both labels. I'm unsure how to open these to attach so if anyone can help that would be great. Cheers JB 7th avenue.pdf 7th avenue 1.pdf
