  12. As a 'returnee' in the late 90s ( due to Ian Levine and SWONS) I can only thank profusely everyone who kept the scene going from my original retirement in 1975 to my return. Thank you guys and girls for wonderful vinyl discoveries during my and Mrs B's absence. Trouble is, I bought Kev's first 500 book and it cost me loads to get most of them! Julian & Carolyn

  15. Lord Jims opened around 1965 as a soul venue. I took over the DJing in 1969 and Les Cokell joined me at later date. We would travel to the Wheel after Jims closed at 2pm. Julian

    Why not report them to the local Trading Standards Office at the Town Hall. They seem to be the ones on the case of counterfeiters
