Buying is about a number of things...for me it's: 1 The popsike price 2 The going rate dealerwise 3. Am I happy to wait for one to appear on ebay or soul source or do i want it right now! 4 How often do you see it for sale..which can make number 1,2 and 3 null and void! I just bought The Empires off Darren for what I consider a fair price...and it was number 4 of the above! You don't ever see it! Very happy with the price I paid and Darren was brilliant as regards his patience with me as reagards cash flow! Top Seller...don't get better. Simple really..if you want this rare tune buy it...if you want to get it cheaper...be prepared to wait a long time... you may get lucky...but as so rare..unlikely. Either way good luck...looks a fair price to me. And no I don't know Darren outside of buying a record off him! Mark ...

I always remember Mr Brady playing this one? Got Pat on an old live tape playing it somewhere from mid 80's...wasn't Stafford on this occasion was the Regency suite across the road from Hinckley leisure Centre...in fact was this live tape I did that made me buy a nice demo in about 89...still have it!

Do like a bit of falsetto and of course Eddie Holman is the epitome of the genre in my opinion for what it's worth. Always think it's like shopping at Harrods rather than Tescos....personally can only afford to shop at Tesco where (in time if you want to wait) you can get the same products a lot cheaper! Not sure if it was a crap analogy or not but Manships = Harrods and Soul Source/ ebay / facebook (a bit these days) = Tescos!! Bloody hell wish I hadn't started this shopping analogy now! I'll park me trolley and get me quid and bugger off! Mind you be nice to be able to afford to shop at raresoulmanharrods all the time!
