  1. Thanks Dylan. But did the one on Kick Off get released with Garlon and Garland Davis on the label?
  2. Seen copies with Garlon Davis and one with Garland Davis. Can others confirm this? And, I take it the Kick Off and Merging labels are from the same stable? And did, by any chance, "Don't Worry About Dancing For Me" come out on Merging also?
  3. A very interesting report. Well dug out Mike. Makes me wonder whether we'll all take a greater interest in the world economy now that one of our own is doing reports on it as BBC's economic editor. :o) Well done Paul Mason.
  4. Pretty sure mine is a Slauson Shuffle B-side but not a demo. I'd have to check that when I get home at the weekend.
  5. Whilst the topic is about General Johnson. Does anybody know if his "Gods Gift To Man" was ever released 'somewhere' / 'anywhere' on a 45 or Ep? Perhaps even a test pressing?
  6. Awesome record. Pure Mayfield.
  7. But Ezzie, isn't that one by the Toys, not the Crystals?

Never heard this one before. I've seen a copy but had no idea what it was like. Thanks for posting Andy. Brilliant.
  9. Oops yes, well spotted. January Majestic? Yes, I'm hoping to be there. Seeings how all my dental appointments are now finished.
  10. Hee Hee. Hey Tony, you still hanging onto that CD you did for me recently?
  11. SIX. I have a list somewhere with all the owners of said SIX . . . . which happily includes ME.
  12. I have the following record; AVCO Embassy 4598 Donnie Elbert Ooh, Baby Baby Tell Her For Me 1972 But it actually plays "Come See About Me" by Donnie instead. Even the B-side has a different track by Donnie than that shown but I can't remember what it is. Anybody else got one of these?
  13. Of course!!!
  14. The last Okeh issue of Major Lance's "You Don't Want Me No More" went for $271 on the Net around September this year. What price now for a Canadian Epic release I wonder?
  15. It's okay Mace, it arrived safe and sound in this mornings post. Thanks again.
  16. I see. Who told you that? Or, are you speaking from experience? PS - THAT record hasn't arrived yet. Now that I've mentioned it, it'll probably arrive in this morning's post.
  17. Cheers mukka. I tried but the only thing shakin was my belly.
  18. Seriously, have you got a sound file of this record???
  19. UK Deep Soul label. UK labels with Gold writing, like London, Parlophone, Pye International, Chess, Columbia, etc
  20. I'd like to contact him as well. I know he's on here but he doesn't visit the site very often, so I'm told. An email address would do. I just want to ask him a question about a record he sold about a year ago. Thanks if you can help.
  21. But that's the LIVE version, and everybody's clambering after the studio version, which, as Marc is pointing out, is available on an Lp. Or, as Tommaso is pointing out, on a French 7" Ep. So, it depends on whether you specifically want it on a 7", or don't mind a 12" Lp.
