  3. I thought would ask Marv Goldberg and got a nice reply, bless "Hi, Alan, I don't know why you think I'm an expert on Soul music. I know next to nothing about it. My field is 1940s and 1950s R&B. However, I'm good at digging. This is what I found (most of this, but not all, has been found before):" And now, you have a picture of him. and a 1959 biography. Besides, anyone who dates Jo-Ann Campbell can't be all bad."

  8. And don't get me started on the man behind it In 1967 Created a musical production company called “Young American Showcase, Inc.”. Lowell was the President and CEO for those years producing High School and Jr High School assembly shows and night concerts. Wrote the shows, designed and built all major props and taught audience communication for eight music groups. These groups performed in all the U.S. States, Canada, Australia and Hawaii. Since 1998, Lytle has played Captain Smith (The Titanic) for audiences all over the world. He has researched the passengers’ stories, memorized the captain’s last speech and even met some of the survivors. He has written about his experience, including playing the captain and traveling to the wreckage site, in Diving Into the Deep.

  22. Kev Roberts quoted she was an opera singer ? does anyone know at all ? (that's why I threw the piece in to create some more momentum into getting a result), but as with many things sadly we seem to be losing the folks that actually do know and I am not old enough or experienced enough 😀 was this recorded in Detroit ?
