A friend of mine needs 9 demos to finish the set (British tmgs) and he as most of the hard ones all the eps and albums but would still be quite expensive to finish the set but they are lovely to look through and handle might sound a bit wrong but a red and white looks fantastic on a spinning turntable If you are collecting the TMGs good luck with your hunting Atb yocky

Cant wait for this fantastic event in a new brilliant venue exiting time for the modern/crossover crowd with the addition of the modern room this year at the merton hotel really proud to be part of a great fun soulful weekender which caters for all tastes of soul music form mid 50s RnB to year 22 and everything inbetween if your gonna book be quick it will definitely be a sell out enjoy rest of bank holiday what ever your doing and see you all in Jersey take care atb yocky and mandy- 36 comments

What a fantastic article to post thank you my son went to watch him at Glastonbury this year and said he was brilliant nice when people like him give something back and just goes to prove money doesn't solve every problem but talking about mental health issues does well done normal cook Great article thank you yocky Norman sorry

No matter where the venue is it's the atmosphere the promoters and music policy that makes hundreds flock there every month just good old fashioned down to earth tunes played ito a great crowd good luck to pete john jock and jackie with your new venue it looks amazing take care and safe journey to everyone atb yocky and mandy

Well what can I say just got back from 5 days at tattershall lakes and shattered first the good points the venue and the park are fantastic a the djs played to the floor with a mixture of great tunes for everyone really well organised weekend the cabin was out of this world hot tub and carp lake 5 metre away great food on site for me it did what it said on the tin great company great music had a dance or two and a few beers and laughed all weekend with friends best record of the weekend for me was Jackie Edwards sea cruise best dj all of them they all filled the dance floor right now the bad points there isn't any only that we had to come home and wait to go again thanks to the promoters job well done see you next year yocky and mandy- 5 comments

Just to let anyone know that's not been to the jersey weekend before every afternoon 12 till 5 we have a open box session fri/sat/sun were anyone can bring a box of records and spin them they are great fun no bollotics afternoon and the last few years have brought some great underplayed sounds to the decks and lots of fun afternoons All being well hopefully fitzi will let me organise the afternoons sessions again so please feel free to contact me nearer the date if you fancy spinning a few and I look forward to seeing you all in the new fantastic venue in jersey take care atb yocky- 36 comments

Had a look at this new venue before we left this year the mayfair was great but this is to another level fantastic hotel and facilities now a three room event with the modern room added for next year and just to put icing on cake for me a sports bar and American burger bar this is gonna be massive and cant wait for next November to come have a look at the photos when they are uploaded the hotel and staff are amazing all roads lead to the merton next year so in the words of fred pontin Book Early campers see you all next year yocky and mandy- 36 comments

Hi just to add to the thread I've only had a very average collection but mean the world to me but the best collection I've ever seen is between 2 people Derek geenhoff from my own town and Simon hunt (sharmo) who I spent many hours early morning blown away by track after track 10 years ago I went to Derek's for nearly 18 months on a Thursday night (therapy) and started with British As then USA As and so on to cut a long story short some great collection out there
