its a reissue of his belgian contempo release from 1974 the surprise copy came out in 79 i think ..green label..picture cover is similar on both the pic being a little larger on the contempo release

you know something years ago i thought this 45 was dire........it sounds better these days...the last minute or so is hard work still....the mayer hawthorne version is ok also i guess

no release date on the 1969 g & w ..this probably means it was never deleated...just as ted said

belgian should be legit..loads of soul stuff came out on this label

i agree with pete..only came out once on stateside in 1966 altho demo`s say `open the door of your heart`. the spelling mistake was rectified for the issue as i never seen a R & W with correct title and never seen an issue with the spelling mistake

i dont think it`ll see the likes of £1500 again tho

i agree the handbaggers/mouldy oldies team seem to have gotten hold of it. but if someone gave me 500 for a record i had years i`d say give me your money you nice person. i think its great some people are livin the dream now when lots of us went thru records like this 20 years ago
