  1. might come off with nail varnish remover,,dont get it on the vinyl tho
  2. all the karate copies of tony hestor ive seen have the stamp in the runout...never seen a boot..perhap he got confused with mikki farrow.. incidentally i seen more tony hestors on giant in the last six months than i seen in me life..at least half a dozen gone thru ebay in varying conditions
  3. i did the same ......but then gave the record away to what i thought was a more deserving cause fool that i am
  4. if its on the world wide web its easy enough to do
  5. kim...sell them yourself on here or facebook to get your best price ......but give it 12 months first then see how you feel then..everything will sell for its correct price,,as nev said yes theres packin and post office trips but it always was a labour of love
  6. rarer on palmer tho isnt it..

  10. hey i appreciate what your saying and gareth is 100% correct and i for one wont be lining john andersons pocket. someone on this thread i`m sure did say about the quality being harder to come by than it used to be as well as the turnover of records. its not gonna get any easier. andy`s podcast is one of the best out there. but the hopkins brothers doesnt stand out.....imperial c`s and hytones just two oldies eh lol even tho weve known them for what seems forever theres still loads that dont know em to this day....put the hytones on the last H & G cd and some were scratching there heads.......i agree dereks second post came across as a bit leery......uneccessary.........now john harris that does float my boat dave
  11. i think the rca copy was issued in 1976
  12. derek has his opinion nev and to a point i`m inclined to agree...HB is yet another decent tighten up soundalike..but i for one wouldnt trade the hytones and imperial c`s for it just to keep up with the joneses
  13. also used to have a nice copy with labels the right way round and a dj copy not for sale stamp on it..traded off to pat brady a few years ago dave
  14. all the direction copies listed on this thread so far look like later presses to me. on the first issue the arrow is bigger and the label rougher like on all 1968 cbs distributed labels..the ones from 69 onwards have a smoother finish... i bet thats some shite info most of y`all wouldnt have noticed
  15. freddie paris, dunn & bruce street and futures sold ...moon williams on hold....make offers for whats left dont be shy dave
  16. yes someone got a bargain there...sells all day at that price
  17. the vinyl looks ok too..it was a big seller in the states...sams big posthumous hit reaching no 7 in the usa early 65
  18. eye you cant mess about in this game..wasnt me who bought it tho
  19. white spirit works everytime with tacky sticker marks..not sure about sellotape thats been on 30 odd years tho
  20. johnny bragg..there talkin about me....by accident. 1974 ..my mum was a cleaner in the local club and sunday morning i went with her to work. mum and her friends were busy so i nipped up onto the stage where they`d had a disco the night before. lo and behold this 45 was on the table..green elberjay..no sleeve to be found tho..we`d got lots of records at home but i`d never seen one like this before...i took it home, played it and it introduced me to a sound the likes i`d never heard before dave
