Yes, quite a few including Little Jerry, Timmy Brown, Chuck Wright (not all titles) etc.

Tony Owens - I Need, I Need Your Love (soulin)
Blimey! I left a mint red label copy on a shelf at the weekend. Hadn't heard it in an age, played it, didn't think that much of it. I did however ask for the Dover Dist factory sleeve it was in, which the shop owner was happy to let me have.

True Patron Of The Arts (vocal)

Touch Of Velvet
The piece of music used for Tarrant on TV is, Syd Dale - Penthouse Suite. It's on one of those EMI 'Sound Gallery' compilations of incidental/theme music...superb lounge-core. (I've tried uploading it without success, as usual ) Incidentally, whilst we are waaaaaaaay off topic, may I plug my mate's CD of music from the fab TV series, The Double Deckers...he released it the other month on the Poker label. However, to get back on-topic Poker has also released the Tempests album and a Roy Hamilton compilation of MGM recordings. Phew my Soul credentials are still intact...just!

Isley Brothers
No spare, but out of interest they performed this wonderful, wonderful beat ballad on Ready, Steady, Go! There may be a grainy black & white clip floating around somewhere.

Sent via PM.

Vicki Baines
Must admit I've seen more WD's than stockers over the years. Never seen any West Coast presses, mind.

Ray & The ?
From the listing we did over on RareSoulForum.co.uk back in Feb 2005...here are some additions: 5012 A.side is 'Another Lonely Night' 5013 Steve Jordan & The Jordan Brothers - 'Would You Believe' / 'You Keep Me Hanging On' 5018 B.side is 'Sunshine Superman' There are also Falcon/ARV factory sleeves! Never seen or heard of anyone owning a Ray & The Blue Cats.
-
Hugh Mccracken - Congress
I used to put it on tapes as 'Ray Agee'. Not seen a stock copy, but have seen slight label variations of font on WD's. Hugh's name pops up within credits on quite a few albums...he plays guitar. A strong R'n'B pounder, as some may say.

French Press. 7"s For Sale
Au contraire Monsieur...rare on French, oui, mais, it also came out on Japanese Coral...very rare!!!
-
Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
More sheer coincidence...yesterday on a very brief digging session I found an old forgotten (?) 100 Club spin, The Tiaras - 'Hey Senor', on a Canadian Warner Bros 7" (Valiant - US), and an Incredibles 'Heart & Soul' album on Canadian RCA (Audio Arts - US)....along with some other bits'n'bobs...which was nice.

Hesitations..is This The Way To Treat A Girl Gwp
Hi Mark, Had it a couple of years now and not had a sniff of a second copy (sorry Ritchie). There are x3 JP GWP 7"...The Hesitations, The Persians and Debbie Taylor...all mighty rare. d.

Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
By sheer coincidence I just posted a Canadian Velvelettes within the Blue Sharks thread...here it is again...£25 +P&P. We actually started a Canadian press list over on RareSoulForum.co.uk...was at 250+ (interesting Northern tracks and not including Motown family labels). I'm always surprised but never shocked at what got released where, around the globe.

Hesitations..is This The Way To Treat A Girl Gwp
Sorry squire, not for sale. 'twas a mischievous comment to get the moustaches bristling and chins a scratching...'A green one can't possibly exist'...or can it?!
-
Rocky Gil & Bishops L.p
There's also a few other Rocky Gil LPs on Teardrop, but they don't contain any Northern tracks...and they aren't even sung in English either!
-
Hesitations..is This The Way To Treat A Girl Gwp
I have a green label demo copy on GWP!
-
Jimmy Delphs - Dancing A Hole In The World
I can't shoulder the blame (on this occasion!), but I know of one which landed here not too long ago...mint and white it is too! If push came to shove, the Esquires win...almost every time.

Price Needed-little Willie Faulk-look Into My Heart-m&h
