I remember moving copies of the Huns Review on for £8 a pop many moons ago Agree, JohnnyH was cheap...a few discs always seem to go through cheap over the holiday period

I remember those two doing the rounds during Stafford, Rod...mind blowing stuff! I also got an acetate around that time from Ady Pountain of 'Sugar...' backed with 'Come On Back...' resplendant with fake photocopied labels waaaaaaay before Paintshop made life easier! The Soussan guide book has a load of Motown acetates in it, including Suspicion, as featured above. Anyone got the listings for the two tapes just to jog my memory, please?

Must admit I'm always surprised at how quiet some of the labels/artists of the week threads are...I always try and contribute with at least some scans/recommendations.

Fabulous tune and a real grower...what's the going rate and has anyone a picture of the group, please?

...and let us not forget that a lot of the demo copies are actually on brown vinyl...hold 'em up to your light bulbs and marvel at their beauty!

Bonnie Grahams, 'Come On Strong' is quite good Northern...maybe this is the one you are referring to? Also, 'She Loves Like Crazy' is another decent enough Northern effort from Rodd, which also shares the same backing track as this aweful song from him as well...'Do The Pig'! I've had the 'pleasure' of playing through quite a few on Preview...ouch!

I've had WDs and orange stock copies of the Girlwatchers...fabulous track imo! Not too easy to find, but doesn't achieve much as not a well known disc at all. Mind you, if the RnB crowd pick up on it now it could head towards three figures I'm sure...on your marks, seeeeet, go...and they're feverishly tapping their keyboards now buying blind in hope of making money...or is it to have a new tune!?!?!
