  1. But you can make an offer.................
  2. Roy Hamilton - Reach out for me
  3. The bloke selling it said "hairline crack does not affect play"..................
  4. I wanted to buy some stuff of Ebay, the bloke lived about 2 miles away, he was offering free delivery, when I asked what the price reduction would be if I came pick them up he said "nothing, it's free".........needless to say I didn't bid. When you trawl though Ebay I am constantly astounded at the enormous amount of sellers who haven't got a clue. Nr.1 rule in selling is "have a fundamental knowledge of your market". Once heard a bloke at a US record fair say "I'll sell this on Ebay, those Brits will buy anything that's called Northern Soul" in reality we Brits know more about the value of these records than anyone else.
  5. Offered him $1.00 for Dobie Gray.........................

  9. A pal and me were going thru some Supremes tunes and naming those that had been done by other artists. We couldn't find anybody (within the TMG group) that had covered "Baby Love"......true or false ?
  10. You're right Pete, if it's not legit then it's a bootleg no matter what it looks like.
  11. Posted Yesterday, 10:19 PM Chris L, on Yesterday, 10:29 AM, said: My copy flummexes me, somebody put a cross on it, why do that for a boot ? You would think so but I bought it in a small junk shop in the middle of Pennsylvania, would like to know how it got there ?
  12. You really need to be dead careful that you don't pull off or wear the label away. Many have tried and many have died. Failing everything said before me, this'll do it for sure...................
  13. Sorted, thanks.............
  14. Sounds expensive Pete, I was knocking out EX/Less than mint for £100 - 110 I reckon about £50.00-ish
  15. One theory is that when the Brits asked US pressing plants to re-press a record people at those plants thought they were valuable and sneaked out extra copies to be sold at record fairs, etc. This way they found themselves into legitimate circles. My copy flummexes me, somebody put a cross on it, why do that for a boot ?
  16. What a knowledgeable chap you are..............
