Ric Tic Originals - Styrene Vs Vinyl
I'm convinced you're right. I have a JJ Barnes bought early in 1972 from Martin Koppel (in his early days) can't believe it was being booted then I'll take it even further not all Okeh singles have stamped matrix Don't want to discuss issues can have scratched matrix numbers as can Motown singles that come out of the Monarch plant in LA.

Lee David & Alexander Patten Price ?
The Alex Patten sounds about right but I would have though Lee David might do £250.00 depending on condition one went on Ebay for that much last week. Those issues seem to have jumped in price, last year you could get one for about £120/150.00 or less !

Was it ever issued on a GRT release ? I know "Run for cover" was.

Tony Clarke - Landslide - Chess - Question About This One
Be careful just because "John says" doesn't mean it's so, he'd be the 1st to admit that.

Tony Clarke - Landslide - Chess - Question About This One
There's a couple on UK Ebay right now, both the "stereo" re-issues. One seller isn't aware it's a re-issue the other I'm not sure about, he did sell me a booted Lou Johnson.

Spellbinders, Group Line Up & Lead
About the nearest thing you'll get to an original Spellbinders line-up, taken about 9 years ago. From left, Dee Grant, Bobby Shivers, James Wright and Elouise Pennington. McArthur Mumford was ill and couldn't make the meeting both he and Dee Grant have passed away.
-
Spellbinders, Group Line Up & Lead
Lead is/was Bobby Shivers. He's the only original member appearing at Prestatyn. Elouise Pennington & James Wright are still alive in New Jersey as is Spellbinder stand-in (for the UK & Canada tours of the mid-sixties) is ex-Ad Lib Danny Austin.

Comedy Sale Of The Day
- Velvelettes - Lonely, Lonely Girl Am I
Sorted, thanks !- Customs Duty
If you make a false declaration, then yes that's breaking US customs law. Having said that the law was not put in place for secondhand personal goods, such as records but rather the import & export of commercial goods. Thing is it's not at all important for US customs what the value is, there are no export taxes. I once bought about $3000 of records from a dealer and just walked on the aeroplane with the record case, no-one looked, asked or checked, not in the US or in Europe. If the seller won't put a low value best to try and find a friend who lives in the US who can ship them onto you and if it's really a really expensive record, reckon on 25% total tax & duties, if it's a potential bill of $500.00+ you may want to even consider going to the US personally and while you're there look for more records. I was staying at a hotel in Chicago and I got the sellers to send stuff there so I didn't have to Backwoodsville to collect them. Good luck - Velvelettes - Lonely, Lonely Girl Am I
