Not sure that's a Belgian issue, it doesn't have the Belgian SABAM box but the European BIEM. Country of manufacture also not shown. Tough to say, as I said Belgium is a small country and didn't have much of a youth culture in the 70s, outside of the Popcorn scene so no real demand. Belgian for sure.

There are 2 releases you can find, 1 x 12" and 1 x 7", both on the B side of "World rated X" are they the 1965-ish recordings or later ones ?

Kel, not many (legitimate) records got made in Belgium. Most were made in the surrounding countries. I do have some, mainly Motown, the best being this one.

The TSU Tornadoes is actually French, you can see that from the BIEM licence stamp. Belgian singles have the same sort of stamp but it reads SABAM. The Philps one doesn't look like a Belgian, maybe Dutch, the scan is not clear enough.

Wow !! a gaggle of info, so it's 1967 then ? After my original posting I changed my mind and thought it would be nearer that '67 date, many thanks, Chris. I picked up one of those 12" for a fiver including shipping.- Marvin Gaye Lonely Lover
