  2. Junior McCants in Tims at £10,000 I think? Frankie Beverly on Rouser has to be more than £4000? Inspirations? Margaret Little ect....??
  3. John Manship has had this up on his R f the R for a while which is where I first heard it......brilliant record as you sa....
  4. "I really won't mind if it doesn't sell - I'll just put it back in my collection for another decade or two" Hate this kind of bluff and drivel sellers put sometimes....
  5. Who did that excellent one where it had been shot in a phone box and all the hooker phone box cards said stuff like 'hot sticky soul' ect? From a year or so ago? That was very well done
  6. Anyone have any info on The Inconquerables? Price, rarity? Is it as tough as the Antellects? Also has it had any action anywhere? cheers
  7. The Soul Rev ones are very well crafted. I work with Photoshop professionally and you can see the level of quality and skill that has gone into the design of them. Not a bad thing at all in my book. Although I have also visited the designer's site and they are established professionals. Also the latest 100 Club flyers have been fantastic as well, and the Spanish scene often seem to knock up great designs, S.O.U.L. being one of them. I'm all for good design being associated with great music. As has been said though, ultimately the night itself is what really counts.
  8. could do one on mars la tour as well......?
  9. Does anyone have a Flodavieur discog? I only know of Antellects, Inconquerables and the Toby Bullard but there is a question over that I thought?
  10. Have a Shipp copy sorted now, thanks very much for the replies. Best, JM
  11. AmbassadorSaxMan> A fantastic soul record, thanks very much or sharing this info with us! Would also very much like to hear the acetate 'I Want A Love'.....

  16. Just had a listen to this on Tim's auction....fabulous record from what i've heard....does anyone have anymore info on it at all.....? Can't read who the vocalist is from the pic..... Almost like a cross between Mixed Feelings and Sir George on G&G.... Cheers! JM
  17. Nick Rennie used to have info and photos of them recording this at this address but the link dosen't work for me anymore: https://homepage.ntlworld.com/nick.rennie/n...mbassadors.html They were a blue eyed group from Virginia recording in Philly? Is this correct?

Gill who usually can be found dancing at Bisley is very good.....think she came second last year at Cleethorpes. Great to the stompers and very good at seventies shuffling too....
  19. Hi anybody know what the going rate is on this please for a VG+ upward copy? Cheers, JM
  20. Great, many thanks for the info.....was starting to sweat that mine was not original!
  21. I'm slightly confused; the picture in the first post at the top of the page says original one side and counterfeit the other, but they look identical? My white demo looks exactly like this and has the AT in the run out groove? Making it an original copy? It matches the original issue description in Manship's 2nd edition Bootleg Guide.... Cheers!
  22. 'Trey J's "I Found it All In You" at around 1:50,' I think this is actually 1:37, could definitely do with another minute added to it! Brilliant all the same..... JP Robinson on Blue Candle ends too soon as well, always want him to come back in after the flute playout.......

The Lovations track: is this the same as The Lovelettes on Capcity? Great female crossover soul if so.

'has been played quite a bit on the mod scene. I bought it for that side, wasn't bothered at all about 'try my love', and still not.' I'm the opposite, used to hear 'The Real Thing' a lot at Shotgun but now 'Try My Love' is the better side for me. TRH is defintely the more mod interesting side. A great 45 whatever way you look at it really.
  25. Would love a copy of this VG+ upward if anyone has a spare? Thanks! JM
