  1. Well, the basic answer is President would have the rights to U.K. release in 1966. A discography for UK President can be found here ... https://www.45cat.com/label/president The Johnny Wyatt listing is for October 1966 - although a reissue scan is used in the discography (same as 108 - Viola Wills above it) Most "Original" Johnny Wyatts for sale are reissues - here's a real one ... Hope that helps Cheers Mick holdsworth
  2. Hello, I've reserved a couple - PM'd you thanks Mick
  3. Anybody on this one ?? Cheers Mick Holdsworth
  4. Hello- Being a Len Barry nut, I would be interested in this - can you be more specific - is it an EP with more tracks, vinyl or acetate - can you scan the labels? Cheers Mick
  5. Although when you think about it "Your Number 1" as per the original, is wrong, and the 70's repress saying "You're Number 1" is a correction. Cheers Mick
  6. Hello I'm after a copy of Marlena Shaw / Let's Wade In The Water - Not US original, but the reissue on UK Chess from the about '71 / '72. Thanks Mick Holdsworth
  7. I noticed that too - some one was actually listing a 1p Freepost record and stating postage on top in the description - now that could backfire on him. Another thing I've seen is "freight" instead of "Free Post" as the method - (again seller has just stated post on top in description). I think this will have a few loopholes / glitches for a while, but eBay will probably tighten it up and throttle us soon enough. Cheers Mick Holdsworth
  8. Warning - Stardust copy has nearly all the intro "chopped off" - ruins the atmosphere of the song Cheers Mick
  9. Dave, I was refering to the previous post about recording artists TODAY reusing their own backings Cheers Mick
  10. Can't think of any artist reusing a backing from one of their own songs, but an artist using some other backing is quite common practice - maybe not in it's original form - just sampled loops etc. Cheers Mick
  11. Also, neither group were the Whispers. - Don't know about Promatics though - who were they? Cheers Mick
  12. I have one on my site - Italian UA in a Pic Sleeve - £30.00 Here's the info for it ... https://northern-soul-records.com/recordsoriginals.shtm#619 Cheers Mick Holdsworth
  13. The green or white boots do sometimes go for lots of money even when advertised as boots ... I myself sell them on and off for that kind of money. My gripe is the boots being advertised as original, when they are clearly no such thing ... Mick
  14. Don't know about you but I'm fed up of seeing the bootleg white demos of Epitome Of Sound being sold off as originals. There's yet another one on eBay right now - This are the heavy duty pitted labels like Dave Newman / Idle Few etc. https://cgi.ebay.com/...em=390093481926 Suppose this'll go for 3 figures and buyer will be non the wiser - wait another 3 weeks and up it'll come again. 15. Just a thought Pete, but maybe they're stains from washing up liquid or sommat? Cheers Mick
  16. I haven't looked at ALL the details, but eBay final value fee is 10% so I'm surprised you haven't been charged £45.00 instead of £39.70 - I sell quite regularly, but never really check if the FVF is exacly 10% - anybody know for sure ? Cheers Mick
  17. They're on both Deram and Immediate --- Studio versions on Deram and Live versions on Immediate I actually liked the Live version of "Our Love" , but the Studio version wasn't up to much. Cheers Mick
  18. There's a Shaun Robinson stock copy here ... https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=27349&item=200376663339
  19. Didn't this all get done about a year ago ? I timed both sides of the B Harner inst - both came out at 1:29 - (probably doesn't count as it was never intended to be that short) I think a strong contender was the Gordons Gin Theme (about 30 seconds ). Cheers Mick Holdsworth
  20. Wigans Ovation - Shreiking in the Studio / Stupidlove / No-Per-Son-Al-Ity -- or any others by that group of "singers" (a word I use in the sewing machine sense of the word) Cheers Mick Holdsworth
  21. Again, that's a browser problem - keeps putting in decimal places when you need commas and noughts - instead of say 100.00 try 100,000 - you will find you may win a few more ! Mick
  22. Chris A trick I picked up years ago with a "Sticking" record - LIGHTEN the needle. It doesn't seem to work if the record jumps forward, but usually works if it jumps back, ie "sticks" Cheers Mick
  23. Strange - Just tried with both IE / FF with no problems - FF is rightclick "save image as" , and IE is rightclick "save picture as" .. maybe it is a system that only effect some random pages , like the "new view" was (still is) Anybody got a link to one NOT working ?? Cheers Mick
  24. Thanks for that Gary Seems the mystery has been solved while I went to the shop for 20 mins, so I'm off to set up a camera inside the fridge to see if the light stays on when the door is closed (even when I'm NOT looking) Cheers Mick
