Seen it on ebay once or twice, maybe someone on here will have a copy for sale for you hopefully, good luck. John

Dramatics All Because Of You On Demo
Just dug my copy out and it's got the same sticker, white sticker, black lettering. Also, my copy of Johnny Dixon is on 'Boss' , not Sport as I thought....obviously same stable as Sport as they are practically identical!

J.j Barnes
Thought you could only get it on the 'Kool Kat' 12" sample l.p released in the 80's with some other unissued Detroit stuff on it????

Dramatics All Because Of You On Demo
Appreciations is yellow on issue, I remember seeing one now, £75 about 18 months ago at a V.I.P record fair. How many releases alltogether?

Any Of You Buy Records You've Already Got
Hey, my mate got a sniper (cost him £12, I think)...he claims it worked for a while then started to let him down.... ...looks like I'll be buying Dean Parrish off you THEN!!! Reasonable price though eh?

Any Of You Buy Records You've Already Got

-
Any Of You Buy Records You've Already Got
Been trying to get Dean Parrish for ages off the bay....so it's YOU who keeps outbidding me then!!!

Dramatics All Because Of You On Demo
Yes! Now you've just reminded me, I do have an Appreciations (There's A Place In My Heart) on white demo. Only seen white demos of these, got mine off Ian Clark. Are these harder on issue then, and what colour would they be? Are there any red ones? Bet they look good.. Got Johnny Dixon (orange), Four Sonics (yellow), Four Sonics (light blue), Dramatics (yellow), Appreciations (white)....and maybe some more but can't think at the moment.
-
Dramatics All Because Of You On Demo
No, sorry mate...never seen a white demo. I've only got the yellow issue. In fact, I've got quite a few of the Sport's but all issues, no white demos.

Dramatics All Because Of You On Demo

Cellarful Of Motown
Yes, and did you notice the flip 'Frank Wilson' is a slightly different cut than the one released in 1979...

The Chants
Sold one for £60 about 7 years ago! Got another for £40 (Mick Smith) and have been offered £80 (in trades) last year. So....£60, £40, £80.....take yer pick

Do These Records Exist?
Never seen this Radiants but I have got 'i'm Glad I'm The Loser' on Chess 2037 backed with 'Hold On'. What's 'Shadow Of A Doubt' like then?
-
"keep The Faith"
Yeah, that's the one, cheers Matt. Jesse owens was first black man to win it/race it then??? I know he did something special??
-
Funk 45 Wants
I've a load of Funk 45s (probably a shoe box full) some rare stuff, I think. Had them years. Anyone got any Northern to trade me for it???
-
"keep The Faith"
Don't know much about the 'Keep The Faith' slogan but it is used in all manner of contexts and is a fairly well known 'phrase' not exclusive to the soul scene. Fits well with what you said though. The fist is obviously the 'right on' fist that black brothers in the sixties (late sixties?) used to show each other (remember the black runner, Jesse Owens i think was his name doing it at the Olympics in Germany?) something to do with 'black power' aint it?

Stand Out Guitar Licks
On a Northern tip, General Assembly....'Sensitive Mind'.....great guitar licks in the breaks!!!!
-
Queens City Show Band - True Patron Of The Arts
Has anyone heard the vocal by The Razor's Edge....better as an instrumental!
-
Skip Cunningham - Have We Met Before
sent you a message.
-
Records You Wish Were Instrumentals
Changing the idea slightly, simply beacause these 2 vocals did have instrumental versions anyway.... Joey Dee & The New Starlighters - How Can I Forget You - (Caniel), much better as instrumental.... and this.... Queen City Show Band - True Patron Of The Arts - (Pow).......and the vocal...The Razor's Edge also on Pow....dire, weak, white vocals, great lyrics though..."She's a go-go girl who's in with the in-crowd, a true patron of the arts!"
-
George Smith (e)
Didn't he do 'Don't Find Me Guilty' on Bojo....rarest release of this one? Also on Conclave which I have, good beat ballad flip too...'Human' (Ad-Libs, Tommy Hunt...even Prince Buster!)
-
New Cover Up, Known?
Anyone ever played (or heard) the Cordells 'Love Is Where It Is' out at a soul night? It's a great atmospheric moody Northern/Garage group dancer. It's the flip to their (fairly) well known 'You Do A Thing To My Mind'. Tim Brown lists 'Love Is Where It Is' as the 'play' side.
