Not Northern and not quite Italian but this Maltese 45 in my collection is a great garage thumper! Rare too!

Three Rocky Roberts 45's on Durium + an L.P 'Just Because Of You' pic sleeve... L.P... Two other R.Roberts 45's I have are another great pic sleeve 'Per Conquistare te'...another Northern stomper sung in Italian and 'I'll Never Turn My Back On You'... a full blown Northern outing in English.

Just been listening to Clarence Carter 'I Can't Leave Your Love Alone' (Atlantic - flip of 'Patches). Loved it for years, great crossover tune from 1970, nice horns and tempo changes. Has it ever been played out on our scene?

The magazine should be available at your local W.H.Smiths. The main content is 60's psych/garage/beat but does occasionally dip into Soul & Motown.
