Soulontop - genuine question.What's your age.? Try staying in,bottle of wine,get your tunes out,may get a better set played than some more local events.Reason? Cos they are your tunes that you have paid, for cos you love em.!!! Regarding going out.Lost my mojo of late for one reason or another.I try to follow certain loose rules when going out though. Who are the dj's,where's the venue,is it a shit hole.? Who's gonna be there,what's the music policy.? Does it make going to work the next day "awkward".....Being a local venue has no bearing for me.... There's plenty of records still around to float your boat..whether they get played "out" is another matter..... Pick your venues wisely.Have to say as well,going out once or twice a month is my limit at the moment.
