  1. Lovely record Keith. Top notch soul music. Peter
  2. The issue isn't too shabby and or cheap either. It's a great record Aid - in my top ten easily. P
  3. Got most of them - although I neglected them badly, chucked about in the car and cases cracked an broken etc. Very good cd's with some great modern soul on em. Peter
  4. Good lad Chalkmeister. Peter
  5. Hi Mark https://www.discogs.com/Lew-Kirton-Robert-Winter-Band-Heaven-In-The-Afternoon-L-O-V-E/release/3694209 Peter
  6. Did you time them with your anorak on or off Dave? Peter
  7. Including inside my head some nights! The paranoia was really bad some times. Peter
  8. Oy! I know of the Clifton Hall guys - I frequented the place in my misspent youth - great all niter. I know not of the 60's lot. Peter
  9. Are these the same as the Preston Street dancers? P
  10. He was always smiling! I never really knew him - he was one of the "older lads" and a dj. Whenever I see a picture of him he has that look of a proper, down to earth, old fashioned type yorkshire lad. I'm not really sure what I mean by that but it's meant as a compliment. Peter
  11. Cheers Pete Not heard that for donkeys. Trad North - not a bad record.
  12. What record is that Chalkster? Peter
  13. I think he was a trad northern dj thinking back. Things like Night of the Wolf are emerging from the fogginess! Could be totally wrong of course. Peter
  14. Interesting thread Patto. I thought exactly the same when reading the Bub birthday thread a short while ago. I saw the old lad dj a bit at Cleethorpes Winter Gardens and can't for the life of me remember what he use to play. Peter
  15. Both good spins Sean I suspect that the Cut Glass is somewhat easier and should be about £20 on 20th Century. I have the 12 which goes on a bit! Peter
  16. I'm not sure if mine or Danny's paths crossed - you never know who you know over the years. Anyway, that mattters not and I am sorry to hear that he has passed away. Bless you Danny boy. Peter
  17. Both nice records. Always assumed BK was album only as I've never seen a 45. Peter
  18. It wasn't lost on me Pete - I thought it was funny and responded accordingly. P
  19. Hi Ste Yep, all good here buddy. Just winding down with Gordon(s)! Thanks for the advice mate I'll look into it. I do need a new hobby. Take care mate. Peter
  20. Ok Pete. As I've mentioned before I had quite a few records stolen years ago and then lost heart and sold a load more. I then lost some in a gas explosion and others were covered in debris and dust. My nickname is Lucky. I have some bits left and have recently found my "dirty box" which has some other nice bits from the explosion in - forgot I had em. I've been buying bits and bobs recently although nothing expensive, including albums. My love these days is 70's and some of the more down tempo 60's. Nowt on a wall or in anything showy. As I say I have a load of stuff just chucked in a box - some with no sleeves on. I'm in the process of geting some shelving done - if I can keep my ass motivated! Peter

  23. The Nottingham Peregrine chicks are getting their wings! Just captured this live. Peter
  24. Spotted a House Martin on my wall at home this morning - had to check as I wasn't sure. Pretty exciting. http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/cfs-filesystemfile.ashx/__key/communityserver-blogs-components-weblogfiles/00-00-01-88-34/1374.house-martin.jpg Peter
