    Discogs has two listed.
  5. Pat was a well respected, top dj back then. Seriously.
  6. Yep, Pat was a great DJ back in the 80's. He mixed it up with some good new 60's, 70's and perhaps even the odd 80's track. Always had some good sales too. Does he play out ever these days? p
  7. You don't know about soul music then do you. End of story.

Evening Does anyone see Hockie or Scotty out and about these days! If so how are they? thanks Peter
  11. I never really bought any record so that I could kick and sit on it. I guess we all have our foibles. I did once buy an expensive collectors car to cook my dinner on. For some reason it didn't work and the car caught fire. Fcuk, funny that.
  12. I was pulling your leg - hence the smileys! P
  13. We can dig you out some hundred mile an hour white crap if you like!
  14. She's abdolutely gorgeous and the fellas are soooo cool! Always look like they're really enjoying themselves too. Love their music and the vids. Pete
  15. First Rock and Roll post for 2017. And as tradition always dictates it's the old lad from Hull.
  16. Oy!
  17. Its a super soul record. Would sit well in any DJ set. Just shows that class does not always have to = lots of cash. Pete
  18. Never heard that Mick. Nice one. Just lacking a bit of "soul" depth on the vocal and backing. As you say might be better with a decent sound file. Pete
  19. Crank/pitch the deck up to frantic and you get La Bamba! Happy New Year pal. Pete
  20. Mm, now you mention it I would perhaps not wager my Swiss Movement!
  21. Here's my pick for today. May have posted ages ago. Nice on the yellow vinyl. pete
  22. Great vid and Sir Dickie introducing the record. I get the La Bamba comparison.
  23. I've never really been a die hard "northern" fan mate. Didn't like all the shitty pop stuff, instrumentals and hundred mile an hour shite. I like my music soulful. Of course lots of great soul music was and is still played on the "northern" scene. But yes things are different today. If that all makes sense.
