Agree.....tough record, only ever seen two issues on the 'Quality' label.........all the rest have been blank white labels (ie Quality not printed anywhere on the label). Glad I got mine a long time ago (and unfortunately its not for sale!!!!).

Its been played on and off on the R&B/Mod scene for years (at least the last 12 years anyway).......................but does it really go for £385????...............i'd be suprised if many sell for that much.......even a minter!!!

The address looks like it's been done with a rubber and ink stamp as it's smudged on the right hand side and doesn't line up with 'Side 1' text above it.

No US issue, poor live version on UK, so you want to either get the US LP or the French UA 45 which is the only way to get the studio version on 45. A bit of a toughie on French 45, but I have seen a few for sale over the last few years.

That looks like a demo copy mate, issue (stock) copies are orange/white and seem to be tougher to find than demos for th Enchantments.

That Ebay price is a joke. This is not a rare record, used to pick them up for £10-15. Demand has increased price (since the Hideaway CD), but people want to pay silly prices for it!!!

Billy Hawks, was and still is a massive Mod jazz spin. First picked up the Prestige LP in Chicago about 13 years ago and always played it off that. That was before the French Stateside 45 started to appear (not in big quantities though!!!! - first saw the 45 in about 2002 when Vic Ranger played it at Shotgun). LP also has other great bluesy jazz tracks too. Fantastic record.

Rose Lynch came out on the 'Winner' label. Kind of Northern R&B with a slight funky edge. Great record, out of St. Louis, unfortunately mines not for sale, seen prices vary from £50 to £150, I think its more obscure than rare. Did get few spins on the Mod scene about 10 years ago. Hope that helps

Lp is easier to find than the 45, which is pretty tough to turn up. Gets played on the Mod scene, has done for a number of years.

I've had a few issues, sold 2, keep 1. I picked them up years ago.

Both came out on boot 45's. Temp's on a plain white label (i'm pretty sure anyway - maybe on a "Soul" label though?) with large centre and the Isley's came on on Soul Beat label (red with small centre hole) with The Monitors "Crying in the night" on the other side.

Totally disagree, had both labels myself, PG is a local issue (therefore first issue), Gloreco is national issue. My PG issue has proper stamp in runout. Don't know where you got your info from???

It's not an EP its a french 45 on United Artist with 'a little bit of soap' on the otherside. Glad I bought mine many years ago!!! and its not for sale.......seen one or two for sale over the years.....but at £300 upwards!!! Live version on UK is very poor in my opinion.
