I remember seeing a stereo system perched on top of the speakers as you look at the stage from the dance floor on your right. I could only afford a little mono gismo thing but it never really gets you back to that original big Wigan sound. I would get my favourite record I had been after for weeks, take it home and play it and be so disappointed that it sounded like a little recording done in a match box, then sell it the next week.

Some good ideas, I use a push in centres and cut them into the new position with a knife then mark the pug in with a pen for later plays, works ok but some times it gets moved and if your in a rush to cue the record up it can get very messy.
