Thought i`d revive this thread. Anybody know year Gene Williams version came out? Got The Gene Williams on Red which for me is the best mix on don`t let your love etc. M-w-t Express feat: Marva Whitney diff song on Nothing i`d rather be(Than your weakness) but seems to have the backing from Don`t let love etc.Mine`s Yellow copy released 1975. Don`t let our love etc-Marva Whitney on Excello which is best song/mix out of all em i know this was released in 1972 so would imagine The Forte material was late 60`s/early 70`s? If anybody wants to add any others,feel free.

My copy plays fine both sides as well. Personally not my cup of Tea,too Northern for me.If anybody wants my copy,they can have it for going rate above.Or trades for something 70`s.

Does anybody have any info on this,came out on Atlantic City.Is this a re-issue or unreleased press? Any idea of year released.One side sounds 70`s,the other maybe early 80`s?(Track mentioned above). Believe Ian Levine might have be involved. Clock is ticking people :wave:

Me and Bob are `live` in the studio on Sunday night. Our Featured Artist this week is from Chicago.Been going for 60 years.Both one of our fav.male groups.Gotta a feeling,we won`t just stick to 3 tracks on this.So many great tracks to feature.I`m sure you know who it is?If not watch this space. 2rd half of the show we feature cd only tracks from 2007-09.Good response last time we did this.Will have another 3 top draw tracks.Plus we have a unissued killer 70`s xover which is finally gonna get a release on 45 in the near future. Plus all the usual banter,great music,hopefully some of you can join us in the chatroom. Gotta thank Zane for keep posting podcast up after the show.

i could`t remember if you found one or not(the old Grey Matter not what it used to be lol). The Rowan version is the one to have . Gotta give props to Binsy,who first played this at Filthy`s a long time ago.Not easy to find and defo one that will go big .
