  2. best part of 50 quid from SMC a nice oxblood one,first time I had it on went up to the friday night do at the Gretna in Aycliffe. thinking I was cool and the bloody doorman says....... you got ID kid, just managed to get in those certainly were the days

  7. great record played and filled the floor in the Aycliffe area in 2008,played it myself at the Rafa,my mate Funkinsoul on here gave me the nod about it:thumbsup:,picked up a copy for a fiver. never quite hit the heights I thought it would,maybe now. kev

  12. Donnie Wells ' you've got my love' (Scepter) ' nice sound with what sounds like full group backing,no little about the artist though. plenty of interest when get the chance to spin it, should be played more kev
  13. The cd it is on is highly recommended. 13 unissued tracks with at least 4 or 5 of them top notch! second that. yes great booklet with it as well,lots of info and scans. great value. kev

  21. just been reading the express,see its Dusty day today as its the eve of what would have been her 70 th birthday. nothing new in the article,but did not know Kiki Dee was one of her backing singers. anyway happy birthday Dusty,a true British soul legend.   22. have one in my box,always thought it was legit,always say its a 70s remix when I play it out,to keep the soul police happy as Pete says it was classed as a pressing back in the days. kev
