Hi all, i recently cracked my copy of ANMHE, bid on a clean copy on ebay, won it and then got this msg from the seller I believe it's a later re-issue or something because it has the "pointy" edge on the record, not the flat edge. It is also stamped and hand-written in the matrix, which reads stamped "U4KM-3147-1-B" and handwritten "309M01" and has the "ARP" stamp. I have looked at my cracked copy, it comes with a flat edge and the Matrix ia slightly different (no B after the first code and hand-scratxhed Matrix begins with FD-00) what do you think? Thanx , g

Was in Bamberg at Soul Shakers Weekender! Soul Sam's selections at 4 am on sunday morning were just phenomenal, a big atmospheric room packed with 400+ people (mostly under 30) dancing as happy as they could be! not that i heard a bad track throughout the whole weekend, all in all the whole "Bamberg Experience" was simply unbeatable!

yeah it's a weird situation. I sent a 350 ukp payment in july as gift and got away with it without paying extra fees. when i tried to do it again in september (and most recently as well) i had to choose who was the one that should have covered the fees...

mhhh, nothing against you Beeks, but from my personal point of view one thing is selling a record which is 30-40 years old, LEGITIMATELY released by a label at the time (and it's actually the label that should have paid the artist at the time), for any sum. If this was illegal/immoral, everytime you buy an old/antique piece of furniture, the seller should pay some royalties to the original manufacturer or to his relatives, very unlikely from my point of view... and a totally different thing is bootlegging (in this case "releasing" not for personal enjoyment but for a (albeit small) profit without permission from the artist/label ) a recording which is currently available and being sold on the market. I'm quite sure that the artist would not agree with you bootlegging her recording, keeping her identity covered and selling it on for a profit. hope everything is clear... giulio

i would also name & shame non-payers, at least as a matter of principle, but since we are talking about big money here, the main thing is that you need to get your due payments. So i would personally do my best to get in contact (best way face to face or at least with a phone call) with the people that owe you money, explain them what kind of problems they are causing you and, if they are not able to settle the payment pretty soon, ask for your record back and perhaps a small refund. I actually think these people DO KNOW what kind of problems they might be causing you, but still I would suggest you spend some time to fully explain the situation they have put you in with their delayed payments... Naming and shaming should be the very extrema ratio, because the risk is that you might not see your money before long. And of course, no credit from now on... best luck!
