    Missed me lift to Wigan one night so decided to walk to Dogsthorpe to spend the night with some mates, turned into Central Avenue and there was a Austin 1100 with the keys in it...I couldn;t resist it, 3hrs later I was chugging along Station Rd, Came out at 7-45 and you know what some theiving shitty bastard had knicked my car.

    The P'boro Wirrina Ballroom(not the Gym) was fantsatic for 18 months from early 1975...then Mindham got greedy and went for numbers, Ken Cox followed, tne opening of the big sports hall killed off what could have been a great nighter.
