What's The Rarest Record On Checker?
I think he sounds like another white Jewish dude, Richard Hell.

The Temptations - Forever In My Heart (Soul Craver/boot)
Oddly, I just had a carver of this done up for me a few weeks ago. Used the sound file from the CD. Sorry, no spare for you, though...

Horrible News: Tony Janda R.i.p
A larger-than-life U.S. collector and DJ with a great ear and a kind heart. Spun with him many times and he never failed to have me peeking at the turntable at least a few times during the course of the evening. Too young to go...

Price Check: Underground Express On U.g.e
Thanks, gents. Yeah, a "poor" copy seems to have sold for £500 on here. That and the £300 "G" copy are the only sales records I see from the past year.

I posted a mintish one up here a few weeks ago at $150 and could have sold four or five at that price.

Killer Funky Soul Ultra-Rarity
Funky dance-floor destroyer, nearly perfect copy...6 PAK, THERE WAS A TIME/MIDNIGHT BREW (Trip Universal). This record is barely played MINT- with perfect labels. One small pressing flaw: an inch-long gentle dip/dimple/wobble near the edge that does NOT affect play. Otherwise essentially perfect. A copy in much worse condition went a couple weeks ago for $600-plus, so I'm looking for an offer in the neighborhood of $1,000 or more. A good quick offer gets it. Paypal only, gift preferred, free fancy shipping anywhere. Here's the recent auction (not my copy): https://www.ebay.com/itm/MIAMI-NORTHERN-SOUL-FUNK-45-6-Pak-Midnight-Brew-TRIP-LISTEN-BOTH-/221119912780

Is This Record Worth £1000, Go And Find It
A vanity record that was co-written by Willie Dixon. I think that makes it not quite a vanity record. I think only one of the other NYC fellows besides me has one, and he didn't get it from me, as a few Europeans did.
