  1. I see only a G copy on collectorsfrenzy...sold for around 300UKP earlier this year. What about for a clean one?
  2. Anyone?
  3. Scuffy VG- copy (on a M-/VG+/VG/VG- scale), but plays. Very tough record to find in any condition! The only two sales records I could find: https://collectorsfrenzy.com/details/360211067216/MEBEUS_Loves_Journey_RARE_70S_MODERN_SOULXOVER_45 https://www.popsike.com/MEBEUS-Loves-Journey-ULTRA-RARE-MODERN-SOUL-XOVER-F/120778039331.html $100 U.S. plus shipping. Paypal gift only. Email to reserve: finewine@wfmu.org
  4. Paypal gift only. Shipping $4 US, $7 elsewhere. Robert Neal, I'm So Glad, very clean VG++, $75. Nappy Brown, Skidy Woe, flawless unplayed M—, $55. Nappy Brown, Skidy Woe, VG++, $40. Ruth Brown, Sweet Baby of Mine, nice glossy VG++, $50. Gino Washington, Now You're Lonely/Romeo, M—, $40. Voice Masters, Never Gonna Leave You, VG++ promo, $35.
  5. Mr. Dynamite, Sh'Mon/Pt. 2 (Soultime). Condition: very clean VG++ A-side (on a scale withOUT E grades); B-side has some small edge chipping that doesn't reach grooves and some scuffs and minor crackle at the start, then plays clean. Very hard to find on U.S. label....$400 paypal gift only. I'll cover standard shipping anywhere, you pay extra for express mail. Not my copy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXpgopTddgA
  6. I posted a mintish one up here a few weeks ago at $150 and could have sold four or five at that price.
  7. Funky dance-floor destroyer, nearly perfect copy...6 PAK, THERE WAS A TIME/MIDNIGHT BREW (Trip Universal). This record is barely played MINT- with perfect labels. One small pressing flaw: an inch-long gentle dip/dimple/wobble near the edge that does NOT affect play. Otherwise essentially perfect. A copy in much worse condition went a couple weeks ago for $600-plus, so I'm looking for an offer in the neighborhood of $1,000 or more. A good quick offer gets it. Paypal only, gift preferred, free fancy shipping anywhere. Here's the recent auction (not my copy): https://www.ebay.com/itm/MIAMI-NORTHERN-SOUL-FUNK-45-6-Pak-Midnight-Brew-TRIP-LISTEN-BOTH-/221119912780

  10. Hmmm...I think mine looks the same. I'll have to dig it up. And I feel like I have other Calla-related things that look like that, which I've found around New York over the years...
  11. Prices in US dollars. Paypal gift and I'll pay standard airmail shipping anywhere. Grading: M-/VG++/VG+ Ghetto Friendship, Build It Up, Tear It Down (Ghetto Productions), VG+ with light marks and significant label damage. $30 Sunrise Movement, Running Wild (Ghetto Productions), M- pristine brand-new copy that looks like it just came from the pressing plant. $150 Ronnie & Robyn, As Long As You Love Me/Each Time (Sidra white promo), VG++, basically a brand-new, unplayed copy that has a few light scuff marks that don't affect play; pristine white labels. $250 EMAIL TO RESERVE: finewine@wfmu.org
  12. Eddie Spencer, If This Is Love (Arc)...new copy, just a couple slight sleeve scuffs shy of M—...$150 US and I'll pay standard airmail shipping anywhere. Paypal gift. email to reserve: finewine@wfmu.org
  13. A vanity record that was co-written by Willie Dixon. I think that makes it not quite a vanity record. I think only one of the other NYC fellows besides me has one, and he didn't get it from me, as a few Europeans did.
  14. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I have a 12-inch metal Sound Inc. acetate I found in Detroit that has both sides of Bernie Moore, both sides of Vivian Jones, and two sides by someone named Little Vance. Only other writing/info on the thing is the word Camaro.
  15. So then does it have dxm in the runout? (Sound Patterns.) If neither that nor GM, I'd need much more convincing that it's Detroit.
  16. Junior Mance STILL plays every Sunday at a French restaurant in the Village.
  17. Does it have GM in the runout?
  18. Flame N King on Raines, maybe?
  19. I have a red-and-white Bobby Wilson somewhere. Has that been mentioned? This thread is confusing.
  20. Thanks, gentlemen.
  21. Are both sides different mixes on the green?
  22. It's identical (but without the intro that's on the Precisions): other side too:
  23. Along those lines"Âand apologies for hijacking your thread"Âwhat about the Stemmons Express backing tracks being identical to the Precisions? How'd that happen?
  24. Ha, sorry, I just want to be able to play the thing. It's a great song and I want to hear it loud.
