Unissued? Unknown Artist?
Vocals sound gritty in the same spots to me....That does sound like a skip. I'll have to dig up the 45 and see what's up. Oh, and by the way: I have read somewhere on the Internet that PRINCE CHARLES = CHARLES SHEFFIELD.

Unissued? Unknown Artist?
Thanks. Been doing it for 16+ years now.

Unissued? Unknown Artist?
Impressive detective work, Arkwright!

Unissued? Unknown Artist?
I can confirm that that is Prince Charles, "Sick." Actually, I shouldn't be so quick to say that. It's the same song, and the same backing track, but I'm in an office right now where I can't turn up the volume loud enough to judge whether it's the same vocal. See for yourself. I played it on the radio here: https://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/33633 Use the pop-up player; "Sick" starts at 4:53. (You can manually move the cursor ahead to there.)

James Moody -Smack-A-Mack
I've got one somewhere, and I'd consider trading it. First I have to dig it up (may take a while), then I've gotta decide how much I like it and weigh your offer. Please email me offlist for further discussion: finewine@wfmu.org

Opinions - Counterfeit Or Genuine?
Seriously? I've never seen a single one of these in 24 years of looking at 45s in Detroit.

Willie Small - How High Can You Fly - Jessica
The only thing that looks even remotely legit about that is the JESSICA font. I'm 100 percent certain that's some kind of latter-day pressing.

Street Find
Thanks, Dave! And Samantha! Hey there, Marius, you clown.

** Eddie Spencer - If This Is Love (Arc) **
Can't someone please answer my question? I know the Precisions do "If This Is Love" with the same backing track, but is there another version of the flip of the Eddie Spencer anywhere?

Street Find
Ah, New York City in the sweltering summer...at least it has SOME charms! (As does being unemployed!) Just found a nice pile today a few blocks from home.. Spent $40 on 47 singles. Highlights: Flamingos, I Know Better (End) Tony Orlando, The Loneliest (Epic white promo) Dynamics, We Found Love/You Can Make It If You Try (Columbia) Johnny Nash, Stormy (MGM) Escorts, Heart of Gold (Knockout) Gladys Knight, Come See About Me (Fury) Pat Lundy, Play It Again (TotO) Mostly mint. Lots of great mint cheapies, too, including plenty of collection fillers. Also, multi copies of a great psych thing that I need to research.

Cutting Off Your Nose To Spite Your Face
Not that I don't sympathize, BUT...I charge a little extra for postage because mailing records requires that I make a $4.50 round trip to my post office. If I'm mailing mulitiple records, that's not so bad, but when it's just one or two, well, that's why they call it "shipping and HANDLING," right?

Pac-Keys, Greasy Pumpkin (Hollywood)
Anyone got one or know where to find one?
-
** Eddie Spencer - If This Is Love (Arc) **
Did the flip, "You're So Good to Me Baby," come out in any other form, as "If This Is Love" did?
-
The Willie Bop - Otis Brown - Exspectmore
I think that's the one that has the same backing track as Little Jimmy Gandy's "Cool 13" on Roulette.
