  17. ...My mate Steve Barrow, is who it was/is that you're referring to, Ady. And unlike many of the people who will undoubtedly come on this forum and bitch about what wasn't included, or what was wrong about this series (and I see that some have already made a start at that, even though it's not even been transmitted yet!) Steve was actually 'there', he did go down the Scene, Flamingo etc and other places of that ilk. I've not seen this series myself, but those I know who have (like Ady and Roger) are people whose opinions I trust to be right and neither they nor anyone else I know who has seen the previews has said a bad word about it so far. As has been said elsewhere, it's better than CBB. And we really do need to be positive about these kind of programmes at all times, in order to keep the BBC commissioning them. Let's face it, it's not like we get 'em every week, is it? TONE WELL SAID....always easier to be a moaner.....cant wait to see it
  18. awesome group...do what you can do was in my first few forays into record buying......blew me away as a child and still does the energy in it is unbelievable..
  19. i would agree with simon the green fire is more scarce.....lulu had bigger distribution...a great and overlooked record
  20. I'd say it's a box of say 100 sounds ..(That's like your Premiership squad and you buy and sell em like players ) A dream box really .. Clarence Mann /You met your match / Gramophone would certainly be on the bench now for me LOL Could be a fun thread really .. Your Dream box simon thats the idea...its more for fun than anything else or even records you own that might constitute a HOT BOX title..... heres another from me... TRACE OF SMOKE TREASURE MIND
  21. nobody up for it then?
  22. another soul bowl favourite.......i wouldnt say its super rare...just hot box status....i believe all the copies were pressed on notvery good quality vinyl and the recording hence leaves a lot to be desired....BUT.....AN AWESOME CROSSOVER RECORD........ :thumbsup:glad its here in the box...worn and truely loved
