This is what these hypocrites quote isn't it? I used to have it on original, I used to be a big name, & they seem to think that it gives them some right to play carvers & boots..... & there are some names doing it ! One very important mover from the 80s was booked to play a nighter in the midlands a couple of years ago & turned up & bought his play list from the record bar on boots & 7s. I'm not going to name any names but there's one on this thread who used to say OVO & then went through a phase of suggesting that "really it was all about the music, not the labels" (perhaps he had been selling his big money stuff?) & now seems to be back on the OVO stance. (on this thread anyway ) have fun

Confusion reigned by all accounts!" Funny story & long time ago but sure it was a sunday alldayer & there wasn't a "normal" clientelle there, mind you the bar staff more than made up for it.... moustache a go go !
