  1. Another great thread would be old time record shops in London. Remember Moondogs in East Ham for instance. Or Brucies down in Lewisham. (I know Tony Ellis knew that place well)! More thoughts anyone?
  2. I first heard it at Blackpool around 75. Was lucky enough to find one in Moondogs at East Ham a week later. What a shop that was! Don't recall hearing it at Wigan.
  3. Gonna be a squeeze in that cab with our respective waistlines AND the luggage Chris. Be good to see you again. Roll on Hitsville in Spain eh!

  15. Hi Albert. I had a copy in my box at Hitsville. I don't remember it from the Casino at any time. Pricewise I have never seen one for sale, though I would hardly have thought it was a serious rarity. I would guess a couple of hundred pounds. Tim Brown wrote about it in Voices from the Shadows, years ago, perhaps ring him at Anglo American. Great record though! See you at Hitsville next year. Greety

It seems we're talking personal favourites here. I seem to remember the biggest dance floor reaction and handclapping was to Tainted Love and "The Night", aargh!
  17. Mark, I'll buy it. Its a record I used to play at Yate and bitterly regret selling donkeys years ago. If its still available, I'll call you tonight. Dave Greet.
  18. Ady Pountain has a copy as well. He agreed to sell it to me years ago, now reckons he can't find it. Yeah right! Tremendous record. Dave Greet
