  1. Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere. BBC 4 about 1.15 it looks like. Check your tv guides/planner. I seem to remember this was one of the better programmes about NS. Hope it's the one with the footage of the Wheel. Now, where's the record button on this remote?

  7. I can remember saying to John, at Cleethorpes, some years ago that he should write a book. Well I guess this will be the next best thing. Are'nt we all going dewy eyed looking at those prices? But the guy is still at it. At Prestatyn this year, he had a box of 70's/Modern, all mintish and full of stuff to make a collector dribble. I think it's fair to say, this guys contribution to the Rare Soul scene has been as important as any artist/dj etc.
  8. Got to be Sidney. Slightly slower in tempo, (to my ears anyway), fuller production and you wouldn't need a handful of class A's to keep up.
  9. Assuming Phil "The collector" Swern has the original records, he must have hoovered up everything, back in the day. I only catch snatches of the show but did anybody hear him play the very rare Jethro Toe (Tull) record the other week?
  10. William Kemp. Absolute bargain for someone.
  11. A lovely guy and a real loss to the Soul scene. God Bless mate.
  12. No wonder the record is rare Julian. You've got them all!!
  13. I suppose it's going to be all gardening and Loose Women now Rod! A job well done Sir.
  14. What a greatpiece. I could fancy that.
  15. We've never met Paul, but what a horrible position to be in. God Bless and the best of luck.
  16. Very rarely seen for sale (last one I saw was £1000). "Your love keeps haunting me" on Arla. A mid tempo delight for the rare and underplayed connoisseur. Sorry, I can't do soundclips but there is a clip available on YouTube. £900 or vno, plus SD or free recorded post.
  17. In terms of influence, has there been anybody greater? God Bless you Charles, for what you gave us.
