i've only got 2 x 45s on this label one by lon rogers and one by four dimensions. Both sound pretty good to me one is group soul and other is deep soul with a strong uptempo side. I did a quick google check a saw an extensive discography for the label. are there any other standout tracks on the label worth looking out for ? doers anybody else have any things on the label they would reccomend ? regards. dylan

stick around there's a lifetime of soul knowledge on this forum. don't be put off by me being a bit over the top with my criticism over one record. I wasn't meant to offend you it was just a little dig at that record. what other stuff do you like ?

the one i'm after is on raina and it has a yellow label. sounds like the marvel one to me...

I diud hear a rumour that this was don gardner but have no evidence to prove that it is. love the other side "i'm sitting in" sold mine for 20 quid before all the demand raised the price and i'd say 50 quid now is fair.

thats a bit abrupt. What I mean is I bought this 45 a long time ago hoping for it to be another great Bobby Barnes 45 only to then listen and realise it wasn't him.

yes thats the one typo on my part. nice to see my deliberate mistakes are noticed fantastic record. What a great lead vocal as you say so much more power than in some others i've heard by them.

never knew this 45 until yesterday and it blew me away on first listen. No great shakes in the scheme of things probably out there for $5 or so but its just what keeps me collecting. Hearing 45s as good as this for the first time. probably their best 45 for me.

loads of classic house tracks got booted. With 3 or 4 unrelated tracks all together on same 12". for example : Jimi Polo "better days" everyone I know had a boot of that

slightly off topic but I also watch loads of stuff in my ebay that I don't know just to see what kind of values they sell for. see some huge differences between one copy and the next as well.

got 2 great 45s by marcus daniel one on plaza and one on monkey town. Unknown to me at the time I bid although I suspect fairly well known 45s to others. I was the only bidder on each at $20 a piece. had quite a few duff ones as well. Something by the wrong chosen few which turned out to be a terrible pop song

would make it far worse IMO leave it exactly as it is.

I baught gene cooper on dada with a badly damaged label. I'll try and sell it if I ever find one with a clean label that plays as well as the copy I have.
